About Us
I think that a lot of us strive to be a little different in our approach when we can. Ultimately whether we want way-out or traditional, I think the most important thing is that you are comfortable with who you are dealing with and able to express what you really want in the cake that they deliver. I've been baking for over 30 years but started my formal food training just over 20 years ago and haven't stop learning new skills ever since. I started Tanner & Gates on moving to Sydney in 2009. I have an overriding passion for quality and attention to detail in everything that I am involved in in life and especially in the cakes that we produce.

Not only did it look fabulous, every little bit of it was delicious and most enjoyed by the guests who all enquired as to where we had it made.

It was such an awesome cake!!!! Andy was totally surprised, and just loved it!!! And all the shooting stars with the covers were brilliant, he recognized all the album covers straight away and he said they were all his favourite tunes so that was a lovely touch that made it even more personal. All our friends were also really impressed. The cake not only looked fantastic, it also tasted amazing - Andy said it was one of the best chocolate cakes he has tried, and trust me he is a real chocoholic and he has tried more than a few!!
The figurine in the cake was perfect and everyone recognised that it was him straight away, the cake matched the design and all the party decorations perfectly. I honestly could not be happier with it - I am so glad I found your website on the internet.

They looked and tasted FANTASTIC. We were even joking about the little smiley's on the sperms and the details on the four burner ovens. The birthday girl really loved them and so did we.
Forget the effort I went to, all I did was click on a website and ask a few questions - I think most of the thanks needs to go to YOU for all the creative flair and care that's been taken in producing the cakes.
