Prices
Our prices reflect the quality of the ingredients used and most importantly our aim to give you a really great taste experience. We don't want your cake to be one of those that looks great but is disappointing when it comes to eating it.
There are so many variances in cake designs/requirements that it is difficult to give complete pricing on our website. Often it is not the size/portion numbers of a cake that drive the cost but more the time it takes create it.
However as a guide only our prices are as follows:
Event cakes
Simple design cake: from $150
Complex / novelty design: from $ 230
2 tier commitment / wedding cake: from $350
Cupcakes from $3.50 each
Edible printing $19.95 per sheet plus postage & packaging. Online store.
Cake Toppers from $40 for a small item, from $95 for a couple or bespoke ordering service, plus delivery. Online store coming soon but contact us in the meantime.
Bespoke cake pricing sounds expensive !!!! It needn’t be. Cakes are priced based on the cost of ingredients plus a charge for the amount of time it takes to turn your ideas into reality. Some ideas take longer or shorter than others and this will be reflected in the cost that we quote.
All prices are fixed once your design has been finalised and you have paid your deposit.
Prices quoted do not include delivery.
Fitting in with a budget
As time has the biggest impact on cost, if you have budget concerns, consider whether there are elements you don’t want that could be removed or made simpler. Alternatively if budget is not such a concern think about adding things to make your cake have a more dramatic look. Might not cost as much as you think !
Why not save a bit of money and serve your cake as dessert at your function therefore killing two birds with one stone.
Price changes
Prices may fluctuate in line with changes in core ingredients and therefore those on this website, although we endeavour to keep them fully up to date, should be taken as a guide only. When an order is placed all prices are agreed in advance and are fixed once your design is finalised and your deposit paid.

PLACING AN ORDER
We have made placing an order pretty simple. Just give us a call or send us an email (contact us) and we can start the ball rolling. In most cases we can do everything over the phone or by email. Payment is done over the internet too so all very easy.

Availability / Need a cake in a hurry ?
We can work to a minimum of 3-4 days notice for most cakes (apart from fruit cakes) subject to available capacity. Depending on your exact requirements we may need to adjust your ideas if they will take longer than the timescale available.
If you want to guarantee our availability for a particular date it is best to book as soon as possible. If you can give 2 - 3 weeks notice then availability is never usually a problem. Our cakes remain fresh for at least 5 days from the collection/delivery date, if stored correctly, so think about getting your cake early if your preferred date is not available. This often makes sense anyway if you have a busy event to plan - one less thing to worry about on the day !
Design agreement
Once you have given the above some thought you probably have a budget in mind and are ready to talk to us about placing an order. Starting this process can either be done by calling us or using our enquiry form. We are happy to meet you at our place of business if you wish to discuss your order in person prior to making a booking. There is no charge for this service.
Based on the information that we discuss we will put together a costing for you and, if you decide to proceed, a design agreement. The design agreement will go into some detail about the size and design of the cake and include such information as the date required and any messages or special requests. This enables both parties to be confident on the final cake being delivered. We will ask you OK this agreement and also make a payment in line with the table below. This can all be done very quickly over the internet. Please note: no delivery dates are confirmed prior to making the required payment.
Payment
Our preferred payment method is by either credit card or bank transfer. Credit card payments are processed using PayPal’s secure online payment system. We will not see or have access to your credit card details and you will NOT need to set-up an account with PayPal. All payment requests are backed-up by an invoice and receipt so that you know exactly what you are paying for.

Note that all payment deadlines assume that we either have processed a credit card payment or the funds are in our account by the deadline date. If funds are not available by the deadline date then your delivery date cannot be guaranteed. We will actively manage this with you so don’t worry you won’t suddenly find out that your order has been cancelled.
COLLECTION / DELIVERY
Our prices are based on the assumption that cake orders are collected (location). We are however happy to arrange for delivery and the price very much depends on your location. Delivery costs start at $25 and we are more than happy to provide you with a fixed quotation at the time of ordering, assuming that your event is no more than 12 weeks away. For events further away we will re-confirm the delivery cost prior to requesting your final payment and advise you if there is going to be any change.
Set-up service
A set-up service is available subject to availability and prices for this are based on your specific requirements.
